Presentation success, week 2!

 Hello all,

Well done to all the presenters who were successful this afternoon with their oral presentations.

Six talks, six passes - very well done to Mia, Jasmeen, Makenzie, Marion, Sophie M and Nikitta - 6 excellent talks, all of which passed.

The subjects were varied and interesting and well researched, as they were last week.

I thoroughly enjoyed the talks mainly for the following reasons - your input, your research, your enthusiasm, q and a and more, excellent. This is the standard I am looking for.

For those of you who were at the session today, I would like you to comment on how you felt the session went this morning when it is fresh in your mind. You may wish to use all, some of these prompts.

  • did it go as well as you had planned?
  • what did you do well?
  • could you have done better?
  • did you learn something about yourself and your peers?
  • what did you think about the feedback etc.?

These are just pointers for you to consider. Please feel free to namecheck anybody in particular whose talk you particularly enjoyed.

This post assessment reflection will be our starting point when we return as a full class on Friday 18th November once the two sessions have been completed.

Well done everybody and I look forward to your thoughts.

Mark

Presentation assessment, week 1, success

Hello all,

Well done to all the presenters who were successful this afternoon with their oral presentations.

Nine talks, nine passes - very well done to Amanda, Leigh, Scott, Siobhan, Lori, Liam, Nicola, Hannah and Lauren - 9 excellent talks, all of which passed.

The subjects were varied and interesting and well researched.

I thoroughly enjoyed the talks mainly for the following reasons - your input, your research, your enthusiasm, q and a and more, excellent. This is the standard I am looking for.

I also heard my very first Sway presentation today, went well. Bravo, Amanda.

For those of you who were at the session today, I would like you to comment on how you felt the session went this morning when it is fresh in your mind. You may wish to use all, some of these prompts. It will help next week's presenters too, I would imagine:

  • did it go as well as you had planned?
  • what did you do well?
  • could you have done better?
  • did you learn something about yourself and your peers?
  • what did you think about the feedback etc.?

These are just pointers for you to consider. Please feel free to namecheck anybody in particular whose talk you particularly enjoyed.

This post assessment reflection will be our starting point when we return as a full class on Friday 18th November once the two sessions have been completed.

Well done everybody and I look forward to your thoughts.
