Morning all.
The link to the third assessment for the FA1W 12 Unit, Listening, is noted towards the end of this post.
I’d respectfully ask that you don’t provide any feedback in the comments section this time please, given that it’s an assessment.
All the information has been noted in the e mail of 24/2/23 and I’ve also popped the info on Moodle for you. The folder is called LISTENING ASSESSMENT.
The final date for this to be sent, by e mail to me, is 12:00 on Tuesday 14th March 2023. I suggest you get your draft completed answers to me before this date though, in case there is any remediation to attend to. All scripts will be marked by Friday 17th March 2023.
I will mark the answers in good time (around my other commitments) to provide feedback to you. All submissions will be acknowledged with a rough marking turnaround time.
Please use the PP slides I showed you in class in my teaching and any sample answers for the practise talks we looked at together. That will help you with how you might want to formulate your answers.
Only questions 1 and 5 have word counts attached to them.
Don't forget to use the transcript and highlight examples in your analysis. The language is a little different in this talk, more formalised, so think about the content of the presentation. This is a straightforward one to make comment on language, due to the subject matter. Try not to compare this presenter's style to the practise talks!

Good luck as always, and of course you must work independently.
Once you have finished the assessment after any remediation, I will ask you to upload to Turnitin, but that isn't for some weeks yet. You’ll be advised of that date in due course.
All the very best,
Mark 🤞
